Do you like a challenge? Would you like a job where every day is different? Would you like to make a positive difference to people’s lives?

In this role you will be supporting a male who has challenging complex needs. You’ll encourage them to learn day-to-day life skills such as cooking, cleaning and managing their appointments. Over time, you’ll help them become more independent. We use a person-centred approach to keep the people we support safe, happy and healthy and to ensure each individual is able to live a life that makes sense to them.

About the company

Bevris Support provides support to children, adults and families affected by birth injuries, traumatic accidents, autistic spectrum conditions and physical disabilities. We are a friendly, caring, family run business that believes in ensuring that all of our employees are given the best support, training and knowledge possible in order for them to provide the very best support.

Our induction & training programme means there is no requirement to have worked in a similar position like this before. However, you must have a positive approach to work and share our values and ethos. Being a Support Worker can be a challenge at times, but can be very rewarding.

Important things

• You will be part of a team working shifts on a rota which include days, evenings, nights, weekends and sleep-ins
• You MUST be a driver with a full UK driving licence
• You must be flexible in your work approach

Pay and Incentives

We have great rates of pay starting at £9.60 – £10.60ph. You’ll receive a great induction and ongoing training, including the opportunity to gain nationally accredited vocational qualifications, free of charge. Other benefits include:

• 5.6 weeks holidays per year including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time staff).
• Workplace pension scheme
• Free DBS check
• Career progression opportunities (We believe in promoting within the company where possible!)
• NVQ Opportunities
• Company events (Xmas Parties, Fun Days etc)
